Trinity understands that parenting is hard work, yet it is an awesome opportunity to influence children emotionally, socially, and most importantly spiritually. Sound like a daunting task? Trinity is committed to partner with parents to engage, equip, and empower them to become the spiritual leaders in their home. Deuteronomy 6:4-7 and statistics indicate that parents are the #1 and #2 influencers of children's' faith. This is a very important job!

To help support parents in this role, Trinity has adapted the Pointe Kidz, Sunday School, ministry for children and their parents 18 months to 4th grade to include:

Family Discipleship Gatherings (twice a month) - Parents and children, kindergarten through 4th grade, gather together in the gym for activities and lessons.

Parent Discipleship Groups - Parents will have small groups for discussing weekly Bible lesson, prayer, and support in the important job of parenting.

Children's Classes - Children will meet in their classroom with a qualified teacher to lead them through the same Bible lessons that parents and Starting Pointe (formerly known as Power of the Word) go through on an age appropriate level.

Fireflies Class (every week) - Parents and children 18 months-preschool will be in their own classroom called "Fireflies." One parent must be in the classroom with their child each week.

Curriculum - Trinity has adopted the D62GEN curriculum (moving away from 252, the former curriculum). This is a comprehensive discipleship plan for all ages so all groups track the same Bible content each week in a very organized, yet fun, and age appropriate way.

All Ages Track Together - Grandparents, parents, and friends can have discussions about what they learned and share points on the same topic, which builds intergenerational learning and relationships.

Parent and Child Participation - Parents and children are asked to attend each week.

Trinity wants to help parents pass the torch of faith and disciple children during the important formative years of their child's life. Please pray about this commitment and your participation in this ministry. Together, we will raise boys and girls who love Jesus and want to make Him known.
