Trinity Lutheran School is a co-educational Christian school that encompasses preschool and kingergarten through grade eight. It is the vision of Trinity to secure each child's future by sharing Christ in every aspect of our school while maintaining the highest academic standards.
We believe our greatest service is to help students grow in their relationship with God and others while helping them acquire knowledge and understanding. We are about helping students develop their talents and skills for responsible living and service.
Our support for parents extends beyond the school day. Trinity provides a before and after school child care program for children in kindergarten through grade eight. Kingdom Kids, our extended care program provides a variety of programming for children including academic, social and physical activities.
New in 2009, the Waconia Christian Child Care Center (WCCCC) is Trinity's newest addition to assisting working parents by providing full and part-time child care for children ages 33 months to not yet in kindergarten.
Trinity's student population mirrors the racial/ethnic composition of the community it serves. Trinity does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national origin in the administration of its educational policies and programs. A variety of faith communities are represented in Trinity's student population. Forty-one percent of our students comes from families in our community that choose to support their children with a challenging academic program framed within a Christian environment.
We welcome visitors to our school. Please contact Jolyn Reading, Director of Admissions at 952.442.4165 to schedule a tour.
Trinity Lutheran School is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation and has been named a 2011-12 Exemplary School.
