Today we begin a summer of sneak peaks into the lives of less familiar men and women in the Scriptures. With this weekend also being a celebration of Jesus’ ascension – a pivotal moment in the life of the Early Church – we meet one of the lesser-known witnesses of this event: James, the son of Alphaeus. Though his prominence is nearly nonexistent, Jesus reveals great truth about following Him through the life of James.
