Vital Signs

Listen as Pastor Phil Wagner launches our theme for the year. Just as there are vital signs to see if we are physically alive, there are also vital signs for whether we are alive or dead in Christ. They are often the same as for our bodies. How is our heart? Are we connected to God and others? Are we breathing in the Spirit of God? Is there pain sensation; do we see God or only evil in the midst of struggle and suffering? What is our oxygen saturation; our depth in the life-giving Word and Sacraments of God?
