Welcome to Trinity Waconia!
Trinity offers a safe, caring, Christian environment for students in preschool through eighth grade. Conveniently located on the hill in the heart of beautiful Waconia just blocks from the lake. At Trinity, we know each child is uniquely created and it is our job to help guide them to be all that God intended them to be. We seek to educate the whole student: body, mind, and spirit.
Walk through our doors and into our classrooms and you will see what we see every day: an exceptional, caring faculty and staff who knows every student by name and are experts at helping them fulfill their potential. Student work is proudly displayed throughout the building. Music often flows through the hallways from choir or band rehearsals and is often accompanied by the joyful sounds of accomplishment from within the classrooms and gym. Walking the halls, you’ll also notice the smiles and laughter of students who love to be here. On our courts, athletic fields, and playground, you’ll see teamwork and discipline as young minds, bodies, and characters are sharpened. It won’t take long to recognize the depth at which God is working in the lives of His children.
It is easy to see why, each year, over 240 students and their families choose to call Trinity their school. As you search deeper into Trinity, you may discover that this could be the right school for your child as well! Not a Lutheran?
We are a diverse body of believers, and we enjoy the multi-denominational fellowship that characterizes our school. In fact, over 50% of the student body at Trinity is comprised of non-members representing several local churches and denominations. Ultimately, our worldview and teaching is informed by the Holy Bible, the inerrant Word of God.
We believe that the Word of God places the prime responsibility for Christian education directly into the hands of parents. The purpose of Trinity is to be an extension of the home, providing…
- Daily instruction in God’s word
- Modeling of a Christ-centered life
- Opportunities to extend grace to others
- Support for the family’s responsibility
- A quality education that prepares students for their present and eternal life.
Whether they have a church home or not, all children in the community are welcome at Trinity.
